Mask: Removed Pixels in Color Range option from the Mask Paint tool
Is there another masking technique that could replace it? I don't mask that often but remember it coming handy before.

Manually rearranging Favorites

The Help helped me figure out how to rearrange the favourite transformations. Great! A question: once I organise my Favourites, then auto arrange them alphabetically, is there a way of going back to my custom arrangement or do I have to move them around again? Also, these may be my screen settings, ...

Re: Portrait blemishes and low pass

I was experimenting with the Detail tool again, and one reoccurring issue was this: if the source area is smaller than my target (i.e. I want to transplant details from relatively small available source area over and over again over a larger target area), how do I 'decouple' the brushes? Can be done...

Export command amnesia

I was saving a few versions of the same image to a custom folder using Export command. Not sure if this how it is supposed to work, but I had to navigate to the custom folder each time I invoked the command. I was thinking that maybe remembering the folder within a session could be better, if possib...

Measure Tool suggestion

Would it be possible to allow the measure line in angle-restricted snap mode to be dragged as a whole. Presently only the endpoints can be moved, and sometimes they don't snap easily where I want them. Another comment: if I zoom in an image and then activate the Measure Tool, the line is produced in...

Re: Monochrome Xform feature request

There is also the Compare transformation that lets you compare and toggle two images and choose which one to output.

Re: Transparency ?

. I can't click on it and I never see it offered as a mask.
Don't know if this is the case, but most often I don't see masks because the mask pixel dimensions are not identical to image pixel dimensions.

2:1 button in sharpen previews

Would it make sense to make the 2:1 button a toggle instead of momentary? I often want to see the enlarged preview as I adjust settings - it works, but I need to keep changing the zoom often. p.s. I think I discovered a way to keep the 2:1 depressed - not sure if intended but it works: press the 2:1...

Re: Saving Custom Crop ratios

Not sure if this will suffice, but if you Save Settings with a custom ratio, you could reload it later and the ratio under Custom will be preserved. You can save several settings, each with different custom ratio.

Re: Resizing for the web

The Export already has sharpening options, which may be all you need. For even more control, one can turn off the Export's sharpen and sharpen it 'manually' as a step beforehand. At each resolution there is probably a visual benefit if it is slightly sharpened before saving, trying not to overdo it.
