Suggestion : enable PWP 8 upgrade in Windows through winget

Include Picture Windows 8 in Microsoft repositories so that it can be upgraded using winget

Example upgrade command using PowerShell :

I don't want to be a downer.... but I think the current download method is fine. I'd rather see Jonathon direct his effort to new or improved algorithms.

I support John P.
Jonathan could use those tools, that support his workflow best.
I don't care whatever microsoft thinks what is the best workflow for me.
I like the "manual download flow" because I download each file to my own NAS-Server.
So I have my own Backup-Archiv back to 2004.

Keeping apps up to date without using winget is a recurring chore. If PWP were easily published to the Microsoft repository, it would be appreciated.
By the way, many graphics, photo apps are upgradable via winget, among which : GIMP, IrfanView, XnView, RawTherapee, darktable

Searching for the tag "photo", the following applications are listed as upgradable via winget :

Agree to both. Suggestion is to add a new upgrade method, keeping the current download method unchanged.
Only if the effort is reasonably small.

I took a quick look at this and tried to add an entry for PWP8 (as Digital_Light_and_Color.Picture_Window_Pro_8) but got a cryptic error message at the end of the process so I don't know if it succeeded or not. When I try to use winget to install PWP, it cannot find the installer.
