The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Changed the way the mouse scroll wheel works in the main image area. I undid the change from 3-Jun so you no longer need to hold down shift, ctrl, alt or the middle mouse button to zoom, but now if you allow more than 2 seconds between rotations of the wheel, the first movement is ignored. This suppresses minor accidental rotations of the mouse wheel while still allowing you to freely zoom in or out while rotating the wheel deliberately.
