It would be great if we could have buttons for transformations in the toolbars area. I have been using PW since the early versions and really miss this feature.

Given that there are roughly 130 different transformations, making distinctive icons for all of them would be a formidable task. What replaces this in PWP 8 is the Quick Pick feature that lets you quickly select transformations by name using the keyboard. Quick Pick also tracks your usage statistics and places ones you use the most often at the head of the list.

I have added a new Favorites feature which is similar to the feature you requested originally. It brings up a window with a choice of transformations you can configure, similar to a custom tool bar, but with the names of transformations instead of icons.
