I still have the problem after an un-install; clean registry; and an install 180726 msi with 180729 PWP 8.0.exe update.

Will check further and advise but not today.

the latest Alpha release

I can confirm this using the folloving steps or settings:

Transformation: Color balance (have not tried others)

1. Tool masks: Curve, Flood fill, Texture (have not tried others)
When you reload a saved mask, PWP stops working and has to be killed. It does not disappear, but it may be because of different OS. I still use Win7, while den probably Win10.

2. "Half" masks and geometrical shapes
You are able to reload a saved mask, but when you try to reset the mask dialog again, PWP stops working....

This is to advise that I am no longer having this problem with the PWP 8.0.exe 180730-5 and 180731 updates.

Thank you davidh for your input and Jonathan for your updates.
