Saving one part of a splittered branch into a script preserves the splitter and a branch box even though there is no other branch. This is not a problem, though the redundant boxes might make a multiple branched workspace less readable.
However if you save a side branch and then you want to clone it, PWP will crash:
1. make a branch with at least one transformation and add a side branch
2. add at least one transformation to the branch box 2 and save this part of the branch into a script
3. open the script and clone the side branch above the splitter -> this brings the PWP down
4. this does not happen if you clone it below the splitter.
Neither does this happen with the original branch, the one with the Branch 1 box.
Since there is no command like Close only the splitter in the Close file box, a redunant splitter with a single branch can only be removed by adding an empty side branch box to it and then closing the branch box.
Cloning a branch with a single branch box failure

Re: Cloning a branch with a single branch box failure
Fixed for next release - after opening a script, I now scan for splitters with less than two branches and remove them.

Alpha 4.Aug.
Still encountering the same problems.
1. Extra splitters with one branch box are still generated from a script.
2. Cloning a side branch as described in step 3 brings PWP down like before.

Re: Cloning a branch with a single branch box failure
I fixed it for some cases but not others. Should be fixed for all cases in the next release.
