Colour Balance Widget and Auto WB corrections

I just want to make sure that the Colour Balance Widget works the way I figured it would: if B and W are set to Auto Balancing with contrast extension, would that be applied to each image processed, or the settings will stay the same based on the first (i.e. training image). I'm having some problems with images that require quite different WB corrections, and some don't seem to be processed the way I would expect them. Cheers.

That's the way it seems to work for me using PWP 32 v6.0.9. I took an image and changed is white point color temperature to 4750, 6500, and 8500... then formed a Workflow with the first image [4750] as the training image and set the Color Balance widget to auto B/W and full extension... the result:

My Program File|Preferences|Remember Settings is set to "No" and as double insurance, I selected OPTions|Reset when making the Color Balance widget settings before clicking its OK.
