Quirk with Print Dialog When Using "Show Image Browser in Separate Window"
To reproduce:
1. Run PWP 8.0.541
2. Select "Show Image Browser in Separate Window" radio button
3. Enlarge Image Window to full screen
4. Add Color Chart Test Pattern
5. Select Print from File pull-down menu (or use ctrl-p)
6. Click on Image Browser window
7. Note that the print dialog box in now inexorably obscured by the Image Window
(I did find a workaround - click the Close (X) box in the Image Browser.)
It would seem that perhaps disallowing focus to the Image Browser while the print dialog was displayed would prevent this.
Also, if the Print Transaction Box on the Image Browser is closed in an attempt to re-gain control of the Image window, PWP will crash if the print dialog box is then canceled.

The Windows Print dialog box does get covered up if you click on the image browser, but you can get it back by clicking its icon on the task bar.
For the next release I removed the ability to close Print or Export thumbnails in the image browser that are temporarily created when you execute a Print or Export command from the menu (as opposed to inserting batch transformations).

Also, I'm using networked printers, in case that uses a different type of Dialog Box.

It may have something to do with the version of Windows you are using -- I see an icon on Windows 11. Microsoft has been changing the way the print dialog box works recently.
Also you might try this:
To restore the Windows legacy Print dialog box:
Open regedit
Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Print\UnifiedPrintDialog
Create a new REG_DWORD value named "PreferLegacyPrintDialog"
Set its value to 1
Exit regedit

That would explain it. Thanks.
