Crash Recovery

Post by Robert Schleif »

While PWP is recovering from a crash, all I see is a small box saying "Loading workspace script:... It would be nice to see what it is doing and where it is in the recovery process and whether or not it has gotten stuck. While it would be nice to be seeing images developing, even a running clock would be an improvement over the present behavior.

Pressing and holding Ctrl and Alt did not cancel as advertised.

Ctrl-Alt only works at the transition between recalculating one transformation and the next, so if one of them is taking a long time you may have to hold the keys down for a while.

You can monitor the progress during the loading of a script by observing the highlighted caption bar of the transformation currently being recalculated.
