Issue with "Base Histogram on Masked Area Only" toggle in Brightness Curve Transformation
If the BHoMAO button, in the Brightness Curve Transformation, is set prior to a mask being added (or modified), the histogram display does not reflect the masked image area. In order to display only the masked area, the BHoMAO button must be toggled, or the Transformation exited and reentered.
To reproduce the issue:
1. Run PWP 8.0.530
2. Create a Color Chart Test Pattern
3. Add the Brightness Curve Transformation
4. Ensure the BHoMAO button is depressed
5. Create a new mask
6. Mask part of the Test Pattern
7. Note that the Histogram does not reflect the masked area
Note that this issue also occurs when an existing mask is added from the Amount Menu.

I am not able to reproduce this problem here. Can you email me a script file that shows how your transformations are set up? (jsachs@dl-c.com)
If I click the button before there is a mask and make a new mask, the histogram immediately is zeroed out since the initial mask in black. Then after lassoing a region the histogram changes to the lassoed region. Maybe you are using a different mask tool that needs to be finalized before it takes effect?

I'm using the paint brush mask tool, but the same issue occurs (for me) if an existing mask is added from the Amount Menu.
I've attached a zip file that contains a screen-shot video and the workspace file.

Re: Issue with "Base Histogram on Masked Area Only" toggle in Brightness Curve Transformation
It looks like you have a default mask settings file which may be causing the problem to show up on your computer. I tried creating one that comes up with the paint tool selected which it looks like yours does, but still could not reproduce the same problem here. You can try temporarily renaming your default.mask file to see if you stop seeing the problem. I did however see an issue where if the transformation comes up as in your workspace file, resetting the amount mask does not reset the histogram.
In any case, I did find what I think was causing the problem which should hopefully be fixed for the next release.

Renaming the "default.mask" file has no effect. However, in looking more at the issue, it seems the problem is tied to the "Input Image Only at Startup" mask setting.
