When double-clicking on Double Sliders (such as those found in the Brightness and Saturation transformations) the reset values are incorrectly set to 100% rather than 0%.

Re: Double-Clicking on Double Slider Resets to Incorrect Initial Value
In addtion to the above, when double-clicking an Amount Slider control that is associated with a mask, the mask is reset. In my opinion this is a bit heavy-handed.
I have since seen how the mask state is preserved, but it seems to be preserved in a rather awkward fashion. In this state, the abandoned mask (from the double-click reset operation) is brought back using the Create New Mask selection from the resently-reset Amount Slider.
In my opinion, it would be sufficient for an Amount Slider to reset merely the slider position and leave the mask untouched.
In the event that the current implemenation stays, note that when a mask is reset (removed) from the Amount Slider the Main Image Area still incorrectly displays the removed mask.

Re: Double-Clicking on Double Slider Resets to Incorrect Initial Value
Resurrecting this old one. I'm curious what the expected behavior is when double-clicking a split slider node (split when mask is selected) - black or white node. Personally, I would expect that the node you click on resets to the default position - so, if split, it would leave the other node alone. Currently it is removing the mask, and reverting back to an unsplit slider control reset to the default position, requiring you to re-select your mask and remember where you had put the node that you didn't want reset.
Re: Double-Clicking on Double Slider Resets to Incorrect Initial Value
The way this is intended to work is that double clicking on any slider restores it to its initial setting. If you are creating a new transformation, the initial setting is defined by how the dialog comes up initially. If you are editing a transformation by re-opening its dialog box, double-clicking on a slider returns it to the setting it had when you first re-opened the dialog box. This is different from resetting to a default value, especially since there is no one default value that works for all situations.
In the case of Amount sliders, it looks like the sliders are restored but not the associated mask. As you point out, this causes problems and should be fixed, ideally by restoring the initial mask or possibly by clearing it.

Thanks. That makes sense - I neglected to try it from a pre-existing transformation. And yes, I was referring to the amount slider in particular.

For the next release, I disabled double-click for Amount sliders -- getting it to work correctly was looking complicated.
