The system is arranged so tapping a particular key (for this example "C") brings up a list of all Transformations which begin with the letter C. Each Transformation is then accompanied by a number. If one clicks that number on the keyboard, that Transformation opens.
However, it appears that, depending on when and how frequent a particular Transformation is used, that number changes, as new/different C-lettered Transformations are called upon. For example Crop may be numbered 1, one day, while subsequent days it could be 2 or another number.
For quite a while, I had Crop numbered 3 and Copy numbered 4. This became so routine that I would hit C3 (or C4 etc) without even looking at the list as I knew which was associated to which number. However, this changed when, as mentioned a new "C" was brought into the mix (Color Balance or Convert, can't recall exactly, but something that I was using repeatedly for a while), and the usuals were no longer numbered the same.
So, my question, is there a way to permanently number certain Transformations so the same number will always be associated to the same Transformation? Most lists are fairly small and obscure so not as big a deal, but "C" in particular has a number (no pun intended) of routinely used Transformations.

No easy way to change Quick Pick, but I did add features to Favorites to let you select any of the first 9 buttons using a number key and also to sort the items manually so you can set which command corresponds to each number.

I think that solution will work just fine.
