Looking back over this forum I get the impression that PWP v8 is not yet able to use my Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060.
Yes?
Maybe it would not be a benefit but thought I'd ask rather than waste time trying to fiddle with settings.

Re: Graphics Card
I experimented several years ago with using GPUs to speed up PWP and found there were only a few places where they offered any improvement and many transformations for which the GPU architecture is too limiting to be useful at all. Also, different models have different features and amounts of RAM which impose additional limitations. Also, the performance hit for copying the image to the GPU and copying the result back to main memory can exceed the speed improvement. Finally, the complications to the code base and difficulty debugging GPU code made it hard to work with. Consequently I have focused on using multi-core CPUs to speed things up instead. The GPU is of course still used by the NVidia driver to run the display.
