Favourites

I may be mis-remembering as it has been a while since I tried this,

I thought when a Transformation was chosen (and used) from the Favourites list, the next time one wished to use that same Transformation (with no activation of any other Transform from the list in the interim), all one had to do was right+click the Favourites button and it would automatically open that Transformation (So, a right+click auto opens the last Transformation used from the Favourites list).

When I currently try to right+click the Favourites button, it just opens the list in the same way as a left+click, although it does show in red the last used Transformation.

Or am I losing my mind?.......

There is no such feature, but it sounds like a good idea.

Actually, when I went to look at the code the feature you are describing was indeed there, but only partially implemented. Not sure if it worked at one point and then I accidentally disabled it or if I never finished it. In any case it should be back for the next release. The right click is treated like a left click if the last favorite is grayed out or if you never selected a favorite before.
