No update of gradient mask
If I open a transformation, start a new mask, choose a gradient, say from top to bottom, all is fine, and the output image properly reflects the gradient mask. If, however, I add another point on the line gradient in the mask window, neither the mask nor the transformation output reflects the new gradient specifications and the running figure for updating does not appear. If I then move the added point, updating the mask and output image also does not occur.
Re: No update of gradient mask
This is admittedly a little more confusing than it should be.
There are two ways you can finalize a gradient mask -- either by clicking the red running man button or by clicking anywhere on the transformation dialog box that the mask was invoked by. In either case, once the gradient mask has been finalized, if you want to change it, you first need to click the Mask Undo button. If you do this, it works as you would expect. Otherwise, having finalized the previous gradient, it starts a new gradient operation, but the endpoints are reset and the overlay is removed from the input image so at this point changes in the color line have no effect.
For the next release, I added the change that after finalizing a gradient tool, the freehand lasso is selected so there is a visual cue that the gradient is no longer active. There are some lingering inconsistencies with mask undo that I discovered while playing with this -- hopefully I can clear these up at some point.
