I was performing batch processing, and abandoned changes along a breakpoint. Upon resuming, two Batch processing progress windows could be seen. When I terminated batch processing in one of the two Batch processing progress windows, Batch processing resumed and I was unable to Terminate batch again....

This was not batch processing, I was working on a composite.
When the crash happened. I was trying to adjust the shape of arrowed line associated with the text box. I wanted to delete points in the line, but instead, new copies of the text box and arrowed line kept appearing.

Did you use Ctrl-Alt to cancel any of the transformations? Does it happen if there are no breakpoints? I might have clicked the Cancel button of a transformation during a breakpoint. I also clicked the Terminate batch process button. I never ( hardly ever ) use batch processing without breakpoints....
