Maximize button

I often use the image maximize button when using the gradient transform as well as the oval (and others) mask tool, so the image has a large white border around it and the mask and gradient guide lines can be manipulated beyond the image area. Without this white surrounding border, it is difficult to re-acquire the cursor start point (if that explains it) to accurately re-position the lines.

However, when using maximize, the image immediately reverts back to its initial small white border, whenever the mouse button is released, so the maximize button has to be clicked again, sometimes repeatedly to accurately place the guidelines.

Is there any way to keep the image maximized, and user controlled, until the related button is clicked to close this mode? Or, is this not PWP controlled and part of the Windows interface??

Thanks,

Marv

Zoom the image window out (with the "-" button) so it is as small as you need and then manually drag the corners of the image window to make it larger. This will leave room to place control points outside the image area.
