Messages suppression in PWP

Post by Leikon68 »

Is it a possibility to supress all the messages comming when you use PWP, for example : suppression confirmation, bit conversion, done, etc ?
It is a question of time when doing a lot of iteratives operations.

Thanks,

There are two ways to speed up iterative operations.

Technique 1.
One is what we call drag and drop editing. Edited an image with the steps you need, including saving the image using the File/Save As Widget operation. The final output image will be displayed in an image window. Then drag and drop other images from the browser onto that image window. The operations performed on the first image will be repeated on all the images you dropped.

Technique 2.
Open a Workflow window (click on the workflow button in the toolbar or select File/New/Workflow.) Drag the images you want to edit into the top pane of the workflow window. Set up the operations you want to apply in the lower pane of the workflow window and hit Go. (See the manual for more detailed directions.) You can save the workflow for future use.

The first technique is great because it takes no fore-planning. If you realize that a new image is like one you just finished, you can simply drop it onto the completed image and repeat all the operations automatically.

The second technique is more convenient for standard or more elaborate workflows because it gives you a better way of previewing and setting up each of the operations. The second technique also supports breakpoints. These allow you to customize settings on a particular operation such as, say, cropping but still automate all the other operations.

In both techniques error messages are suppressed. Nearly all PWP transformations that take a single input image are supported in the workflows.
