UI improvement : File Open List ( miniature thumbnails array )

For a visual and dense display of the file list, allow to visualize the file list as a table of vignettes (thumbnails).
A tooltip would allow viewing the full pathname.
A mechanism for Image Info would also be available.
Notional dialog box provided below, where the current file indicator ( red dot ) is replaced by a red frame :
There should be a notion of selected files, and a separate notion of the current file. Selected files need a visual clue ( not illustrated )
A scrollbar for the file list should be provided ( not illustrated ).
