The changes (taken from the update log) are:

There are now two batch modes – automatic and single step (Test has been replaced with Single Step). In automatic mode, a batch progress dialog box is displayed as before, although it is now resizable. Clicking the Terminate Batch button interrupts the batch process. In single step mode, a modal dialog box is displayed instead of the batch progress window. The main image area now displays the current image. The dialog box has buttons to let you advance forward or backward in the file list, process just the current image, or terminate the batch operation. Fixed a problem causing breakpoints to be skipped over in some cases and made a number of other minor improvements, fixes. The help topics related to Batch have been extensively rewritten and also the downloadable file Batch Processing.pdf.

Multiple Batch has not been updated yet and only supports automatic batch mode.
