To reproduce issue:

2 Create two Color Chart Test Patterns
3 Apply Composite Transformation to one of the Color Charts
4 Select the other Color Chart as the Overlay
5 Create new Overlay Mask
6 Click on Composite Transformation Ok button to close transform
7 Re-open the Composite Transformation by selecting the Edit Transformation option from the right mouse-button menu
8 Select the Display Preview button

I could only get this to happen if, under the Mask setting menu, Input Image Only on Startup was selected. In any case it should be fixed for the next release.

Good point on the Mask Menu Setting. I looked at those Mask Settings further and, as I understand their intent, there seems to be problems with Split Screen being incorrectly displayed at startup in some instances, as shown in this chart:

I followed the steps listed above to see how these nine cases worked. It seems that in four cases, Split Screen is incorrectly shown on Mask startup.

I've always just used the Input Image Only on Startup, this is no biggee for me.

For the next release, I removed the Output Image Only and No Change options since nearly all the mask tool require displaying the input image.
