Masks

Post by Robert Schleif »

Can a mask be too complicated or contain too many drawing operations to be saved properly? Such a complicated mask worked fine, and I obtained the image I sought. However, the mask was not saved, neither when I saved the image tree (on which a number of other masks were properly saved), nor in the workspace file for recovery.

There should not be a limit on the complexity of the mask, although I suppose it is possible to run out of memory while creating the mask but this seems highly unlikely. Please email me the workspace file and I will take a look at it. Also what mask tools did you use to create the mask?

I did not save the relevant workspace file. Since having the problem, I've closed and opened PWP and worked on new images. I think therefore, that the current workspace file will not be helpful. Would the saved script for the image be of use, as I still have that?

The script file should do just as well.
