An update is available to Version 8.0.318 (7-Sep-2022)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
Layout: fixed problems with panels set to Panel Matches Image Dimensions or Panel Matches Image Size in Pixels, when the image is too large to fit in the output image without cropping. This now automatically crops the input image if necessary if you resize the input image after placing it in a panel, if you shrink the output image size or if you load a new settings file.
