browser images display horizontally

I am running PW Pro 8.0.309 and in the browser window the thumbnails display horizontally not vertically like a tree.r
When you new image files, they are arranged horizontally as top-level images. As you add transformations, they are arranged vertically below the image they operate on. Transformations that do not have an input image also are created as new top-level images -- this includes transformations such as Layout, Stack Images, Paste, and all the Test Patterns.
Or am I missing something?
