An update is available to Version 8.0.281 (24-Mar-2022)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
Fixed several problems with File/Re-Save command. This command is intended to be used when you want to rework an existing image you saved with a script and then re-save the modified version over the previous version instead of saving it with a new version number. Re-Save is now only allowed after loading a script created as a side effect of saving an image and when the current image has the same original pathname as it had when the script was saved. The command is grayed out unless these conditions are met. This change prevents overwriting the wrong image and script when you re-save. The new re-save command will not work on old script files but will start to work with new script files created by this version (or later) since it requires additional information to be stored in the script file.
