An update is available to Version 8.0.278 (5-Mar-2022)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
Added new Special Effects/Ruler transformation which can superimpose a ruler over and image. Please see the help file or Transformations.pdf for details.
Fixed problems that could possibly cause a crash when compositing black and white images, depending on the image profiles.
Mask: attempted to make the difference between arrow and cross cursor when clicking or hovering over the input image more consistent.
Measure Tool: initial dialog box location is now in upper left of main image area. Added a button to snap angles to multiples of 45 degrees when measuring lines.
