An update is available to Version 8.0.277 (27-Feb-2022)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
Magnifier Mode: fixed problems with applying magnifier to the input image if it is not the same size as the output image. Display buttons are now hidden when there is no input image or the input and output images have different sizes.
Added a new mode button to the main tool bar for Measure Mode. This lets you measure the distance between two points in an image as well as the slope angle of the line segment connecting the two points. It also lets you measure the angle between two intersecting line segments. You will need to do a full install to get the new bitmap.
