Multipass Sharpen issue

When I go into Multipass Sharpen and look at the small preview window, if I click
the before and after buttons, I see the preview change as expected.
However, if I us ^d (ctrl D) to toggle between before/after images, the small preview
remains wherever it was set before, only the large 'real' image changes. This
seems counter-intuitive.
