Saving Updates

I return many times to an image to tweek it a little bit. These changes do not require the creation of new versions. To keep saving an image and its script under the same version number currently requires me to make a total of seven mouse clicks (I save the original file). It looks like the number could be reduced to two if under File were the option "Refresh current" or perhaps named "Refresh previous save".

I have noticed the same annoyance -- will see what I can do.

It appears that the new Re-Save capability requires that no transformation be added or removed. Sometimes after a transformation addition or subtraction or even a drastic modification I would like to save the image and script under its previously used name. It would be nice if Re-Save could be used then.

Not seeing this here -- can you give me an example of when adding a transformation make Re-Save fail?
I assume you are not talking about removing a transformation after saving it.

Open PWP 8
Open a tif file
Perform a Brightness Curve Transformation
Save image, script, and original image
Perform another Brightness Curve Transformaton
Re-Save is dimmed and not accessible

When you say "Perform another Brightness Curve Transformation" do you mean adding a new transformation at the end of the branch or editing the existing transformation?

Yes, add a new brightness transformation. (I would like to use Re-Save whenever I don't want a new version to be generated.)

OK, I think I have this working better for the next release.
