Is it possible to change the gray color of dialog boxes ? I would prefer a lighter gray to increase the contrast of black text fora readability.

I looked in preferences, under theme, but could not find how to change the dialog box background color.

Unfortunately, the dialog background color is hard coded into hundreds of places and it would be a lot of rework to make it adjustable.

Is it possible to change the text color to white or very light gray ?

The dialog background is currently a mid-level gray, so white would not stand out any more than black. The problem is not just the dialog background, but it involves all the controls as well such as sliders, edit controls, the background behind static text, etc., so changing the text color would also be a serious rewrite.
