An update is available to Version 8.0.242 (15-Oct-2021)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Added a new Slide Show Viewer program to the downloads page. See its help file for details. This is an early version which is still a little rough around the edges and lacks some features I am still working on.

Fan transformation: fixed problem causing a line of background pixels to show even if the output image wraps all the way around. To get a seamless join, the ratio of the input image width to height may need to be slightly larger than pi.

Composite transformation: to drag all the alignment points at once, Shift-drag is now sufficient – it used to require Ctrl-Shift-drag.

Using 3.2 : 1 works to get rid of the white line at the seam, but now a white dot appears in the centre of the image.

This happens if the width to height ratio is too large -- the seam happens if it is too small.
