I am using the Canon program DPP 4 for focus stacking. The program does not transfer EXIF data to its output stacked image. Since ExifTool is already within PW8, perhaps a PW 8 tool could be made that would copy EXIF data from one image to another?
By the way, despite following the BB instructions, I could not perform a search for "copy exif". Search kept returning entries with only "copy".

It doesn't have a 'copy all metadata' option, but Phil Harvey explains how it's done - this can be made into Send To script as above to make it more convenient, I imagine:
