An update is available to Version 8.0.233 (1-Aug-2021)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
Eliminated warning messages in some cases where a size-specific transformation (Clone, Paint, Smudge, Levels and Color Tool) followed a Crop transformation since the image dimensions could be off by one pixel for large images.
Fixed problems with transformation dialog boxes closing in some cases when clicking on their caption bar, if the place where you clicked was over the image browser. This was a side-effect of a previous feature which I had to remove, at least for now, namely hovering over an image browser thumbnail displays its full caption as a tool tip.
