An update is available to Version 8.0.226 (6-Jul-2021)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
All the mode buttons in the main tool bar except Scroll (Magnifier / Readout / Histogram / Palette) now revert to Scroll mode if you click them when they are already selected.
Magnifier Tool: added settings menu to let you toggle Magnifier Tracks Cursor, similar to the setting in the Readout Tool.
