An update is available to Version 8.0.211 (23-Apr-2021)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Crop: fixed problem with Fit Crop Box to Current View button not setting the crop box correctly in some cases. Fixed problem with crop box going out of bounds when dragging the output image. When dragging the output image, the output image is now updated if you stop dragging for 0.25 seconds. Right-clicking on the input image now pops up a menu to let you reset the cropping rectangle and/or angle.

All transformations that use masks now automatically finalize any pending mask operation any time they update their preview or output image.

Histogram Tool: For 2D histograms (HSV-HS or HSL-HS), the resolution has been increased and empty histogram bins are now grayed out. They are also now displayed as a hexagon, like the color picker, instead of a circle. Also, clicking on the image draws a semi-transparent red dot on the histogram at the corresponding hue and saturation. Click the Eraser button to clear the red markers.

Cropping selection still goes beyond image boundary when dragging top selection edge upwards.


This is not a problem, as the selection box snaps into position with any further dragging, I'm just curious if this is the intended design.
