Sometimes when I am creating mask I frequently shift the mode back and forth between addition and subtraction. Each shift requires moving the mouse cursor back to the mask window. It would save me a lot of mousing if I could select the addition mode, and then while I want the subtraction mode, hold down a key on the left of the keyboard (I mouse with the right hand). Releasing the key would return the mode to addition. Using a key to toggle the modes would also work.

There aren't a lot of unused keyboard shortcuts that you can type with your left hand, but I have assigned F3 and F4 to this function.
