Crash using scratch removal

I'm using version 8.0.193 for this.

In using the scratch filter, I've had it crash multiple times as I add more control point to an image.

I'm working on a B&W image, I don't know if I can provide any more info.

Thanks!

I did find a couple of memory leaks in Scratch Removal that I have fixed for the next release -- not sure if they could have caused a crash, but keep me posted if it keeps happening as I was unable to reproduce the problem here. More details about image type (8-bit or 16-bit) and other settings (using a mask, clone/interpolate, etc.) might be relevant.

It was 16 bit monochrome, no masks or any other "fancy" frills.

My transform sequence was:
Import color tiff
convert to monochrome
unsharp mask
scratch filter.

I'll try the next release to see if I can duplicate it again using the same image.

I have tried to get this to crash here without success. Any more clues as to what is triggering it?

My crashes have occurred when I've been removing a curved power line against a complicated background.
