Issue with Mask Paint Tool Drawing a Line Between Right-Click Position and Next Left-Click

When using the Mask Paint tool if one right-clicks somewhere on the active image, that coordinate becomes the starting point for a line-draw between that position on the image and the next left-click position. The mask line that is drawn seems to be drawn in error as the line is not saved - upon exiting and re-opening the Mask Transformation the line is gone.
At one point, the line drawn by the Mask Tool in an earlier PWP 8 rev (many months ago) provided a handy way of creating a straight mask line between two points. It'd be nice at some point to provide a point-to-point mask line ability, if not through formalizing this right-click behavior then by some other means.
