I noticed that in Selective Colour, Colour Curves, Levels and Colour, Adjust and possibly others, the probe can move on the whole canvas including output preview (e.g. it is possible to choose the input colour to be mapped to output colour from the output preview in Selective Colour and Adjust). Not sure if that's intended, although it may be...

It's sort of intentional -- I can set it to ignore the output image but what's the harm?
