An update is available to Version 8.0.142 (6-Sep-2020)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
For consistency, reversed the direction of Threshold sliders in the following transformations and tools: Adjust (Sharpen Threshold), Bilateral Sharpen (Sharpen Threshold), Remove Purple Fringe (Threshold), Sharpen (Threshold), Unsharp Mask (Threshold), Watercolor (Sharpen Threshold), Mask Pinhole tool (Threshold). Now, moving the threshold slider to the right always increases the strength of the underlying transformation or tool.
