Occasionally I wish to rotate an image by a specific amount rather than do it by eye. Could such a capability be incorporated into the crop transformation?

Doesn't the angle option of the crop transformation do this?

The Level transformation also lets you rotate by a specific angle in degrees, and it gives you options about how to crop the image when you rotate it.
