An update is available to Version 8.0.136 (20-Aug-2020)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Show Clipped Highlights/Shadows are now reset at the beginning of every session.

Fixed problem when copying images that caused the bypass setting to sometimes not be copied correctly.

Mask: fixed problem with feather width slider display.

I've installed this version, and now I'm having problems with minimised dialog boxes.

For example, while making a mask, I minimise the transformation, and when the mask is done, I minimise the mask and return to the transformation. But in this version, the minimised windows are missing the "restore" icon, it has wandered off to the left, and no matter where I click, I can't restore (or maxim
ise) the transformation dialog. See the screenshot.

I'm doing this on a laptop, 14-inch screen I think, 1920 x 1080 px, Win 10 64-bit. I'll get round the problem by pushing dialogs out of the way instead of minimising.

I've just found out (by accident) that I can restore a minimised dialog box by first selecting it, then pressing Enter, which restores the dialog. Probably this is in the Help somewhere.

But the screenshot in my first posting does show that something needs fixing.

Not sure why this is not working -- the display of minimized windows is controlled entirely by Windows and seems to behave oddly some of the time. I have not been able to find any information on this annoying behavior so far.

FYI, you can close the Mask dialog box instead of minimizing it. This turns off the mask color overlay so you can see the input image. To get the mask back, click the Amount control box and select Re-open mask dialog box from the menu. An inexpensive second monitor also works to solve this problem.

I believe I have fixed this for the next release -- for the next release, Mask and Transformation dialog boxes have icons on the task bar at the bottom of the monitor screen. You can click on the task bar icon to restore the dialog box.

I just installed 8.0.138, and yes, as you say, it's fixed. Thank you.
