Hello.
a - uninstall PWP beta
b - install PWP 8 beta 9 may 2019 from msi file.
c - this puts PWP icon on desktop
d - windows ten; browse to Start menu | Picture Window folder on left, program side. This has PWP 7 icon since I have not uninstalled version 7. There is no icon link to PWP 8 here but there should be.
e - windows ten Start menu | Tiles on right side. There is no PWP tile here. To put the PWP tile here, browse to the <pwp 8.0.exe> file in the C:\program files folders. Right click on <pwp 8.0.exe> and select 'Pin to Start menu.'

I don't normally use the Windows 10 start menu which I hate (I use Start10 instead), but I did modify the install script to add a Picture Window Pro 8.0 folder to the Start menu, for the next release. I think this addresses your issue, but if not, please post again.

The folder should be "Picture Window" same as for previous releases. Then just add the PWP v8.0 icon to this folder. Please; for those of us who do use the Start menu. Thanks!
