Median blur - Variable method with a 48-bits/pixel or a 16-bits/pixel image results in a red "Error".

I had forgotten that the variable radius median code (which is also used in Watercolor) only works for 8-bit images. I have fixed this for the next release by internally converting to 8-bit before applying variable radius median.
