"internal error" on third side branch

Opened an image, ran a transformation, added a side branch to the original image and ran a transformation, then opened another side branch on original image and ran a transformation - "internal error: zoom factor = 0" error popped up, and everything else disappeared: input and output images,and the image browser tree as well. Clicked OK multiple times (59 on last attempt...) and then the input image appears, then the image browser tree, and finally the output image and transformation window appeared.
After a few more experiments, it seems to only happen when Adjust is selected as transformation on an image in a branch. Was able to open multiple branches and run various transformations with no error, but on first use of Adjust, the error pops up.
