Crop without center locked

Hi folks,
Coming back to PWP after a while off. I think I forgot something basic. If I want to crop an image without the center being locked to the original center, how do I do that? I just want to trim an image freely without rotating or anything else, but to wherever I want to place the new edges. Running 8.0.423.

Edit: is it Warp with some set of options defaults? Or is there a better way?

Dragging an edge of the crop box moves just that edge. Dragging a corner resizes the crop box leaving the center fixed. Dragging the interior moves the box leaving it the same size,

No problem -- the way this works was changed in 2021.
