script : relative path names ?

Post by pierrelabreche »

I usually save scripts and images in the same folder. Whenever I move the folder to another location, the scripts are broken because images are recorded with an absolute path. Is there a way to save scripts with a relative path ?

Unfortunately, no. The problem is the original image(s) are generally not in the same folder as the saved image and script. You do however have the option of editing the absolute pathname when you re-open the script. I have run into this myself when renaming folders, so I agree it can be irritating.

Suggestion : If PW could detect that both the script file and the input file were moved to a new folder, then PW could open the input file at the new location.
