The changes (taken from the update log) are:

High Contrast (special effects transformation): Added new Settings menu items to provide the ability to set the threshold automatically using any of several methods. See the help file or Transformations.pdf for details.

Mask Separate Tool: increased the maximum number of white and black color samples from 4 to 8. Also, labeled control points are now overlayed on the input image at the locations where you clicked to set the current color. For other changes, see the updated help file or Creating and Using Masks.pdf.
