Double-Clicking on Double Slider Resets to Incorrect Initial Value

Post by jfoster »

When double-clicking on Double Sliders (such as those found in the Brightness and Saturation transformations) the reset values are incorrectly set to 100% rather than 0%.

In addtion to the above, when double-clicking an Amount Slider control that is associated with a mask, the mask is reset. In my opinion this is a bit heavy-handed.

I have since seen how the mask state is preserved, but it seems to be preserved in a rather awkward fashion. In this state, the abandoned mask (from the double-click reset operation) is brought back using the Create New Mask selection from the resently-reset Amount Slider.

In my opinion, it would be sufficient for an Amount Slider to reset merely the slider position and leave the mask untouched.

In the event that the current implemenation stays, note that when a mask is reset (removed) from the Amount Slider the Main Image Area still incorrectly displays the removed mask.
