The attached .jpg file shows some white pixel artifacts on the screen when loaded in PWP8. It loads without error in PWP7 and other programs. A printout from PWP8 has no artifacts.
Some other files (.png, not.jpg) also exhibit these white pixel artifacts when loaded.
Any ideas?

Do you by any chance have either the Show Clipped Highlights or Show Clipped Shadows button depressed?

I can't tell you how many times I have done the same thing. I'm thinking that maybe each new session should start out with these buttons reset.
